This year, Sampark Books participated in the Kolkata International Book Fair, one of the largest literary gatherings in the world and a major cultural event in eastern India.

This year, Sampark Books is participating in the Kolkata International Book Fair, one of the largest literary gatherings in the world and a major cultural event in eastern India. The 49th edition of the fair runs from 22 January to 3 February, welcoming visitors every day from 12 PM to 8 PM.
Readers can find Sampark at Stall No. E46, located near Gate No. 3, close to the Foreign Complex. The stall showcases a wide range of titles reflecting the publisher’s philosophy—books for everyone. From contemporary essays and literary criticism to fiction, poetry, translations, and history, the collection represents voices and ideas that engage with society, culture, and intellectual life.
Among the books on display are works that explore political thought, social history, regional literature, and contemporary debates. Titles ranging from studies on modern society to literary magazines like Eastern Review sit alongside Bengali works and translations, creating a diverse reading space for visitors.
